My Exhibition would take place at the Emmanuel Baptist Church situated in the Lystep Estate. The church itself is situated with-in the estate and next to the flats. Many of the residents use this church on a weekly basis and is an integral part of the community.

I believe that having the exhibition here would be beneficial to allow as many members of the Lydstep Community to engage with the project.I believe it would not only create and develop new interest and appreciation with in the community, but attract new interest into the insights of the church which also is a foundation and support network with in the area.

In executing a private view I would invite as many of the residents (via letters) as well as personally the ones who have contributed into the project, so that they may view their images in person, and that so the community may network and socialise.

Curating the Lystep Scap book, I would have every portrait and environmental portrait, hung sporadically and framed in 210 x 297 mm frames. Built either on an external wall (15m x 3m) if necessary. The Frames would sit on top of large sticky text prints of the images of possessions and archives I have collected or photographed. My intention for this would be to give impression of a gathered cohesion, one which would reflect the feel of an encompassing scrapbook once taken a step back. I also would want people to get close to the portraits to view the details when necessary.

I would also want postcards to be sold at the exhibition, so money maybe donated to the church to say thank you as well as visitors and residents may have there own piece of the community.
